Founder of the Golf Research Group, Colin’s Masters Degree thesis examined methods of identifying good markets for golf development. He has twenty years experience researching the golf industry worldwide.

Universally recognized as the authority within the industry he has been published internationally and has advised many of the largest companies in the world.

Author of over fifty major reports examining


the golf industry he has undertaken numerous assignments as an expert witness. His expertise has always prevailed for the client.

Colin regularly appears on radio and television commenting on the golf industry, and speaks at conferences worldwide.


 
Stephen Blake - Managing Director - European office
     
 
Stephen has been with the company for six years and is Managing Director of our European office.

The author of numerous research reports on the golf industry he is a very experienced expert witness, having completed a number of varied assignments concerning golf related litigation and planning matters. He has always been successful for the client.

Stephen is an expert on valuation, with a
first in surveying. He has completed a thesis on valuation theory for golf courses. He is a 1 handicap golfer and a top rated chess player.

Julie Wilson - Director of Sales and Marketing


Julie is Director of Sales and Marketing, handles our worldwide Press and has been with the company for four years.

Julie manages our annual telephone survey of every golf course world wide – that’s 32,000 courses in 119 countries. This makes her the ultimate resource if you have questions about any of our reports, Special Data Analysis Service and Global Database options.

 

Julie launched the Golf Research Newsletter of which she is now Editor, and she is currently studying with The London School of Journalism.

A former ‘BT Voice of the Year’ Julie holds an equity card and has appeared in a number of stage and film productions.



Ed Evans - Research Analyst
     
 
Ed is the company Research Analyst and has been with Golf Research for two years.

A math. graduate, his background means that he is our main guy for crunching all the numbers.
